The farm currently has over 200 acres with over 30,000 cacao trees in the first year of growth, harvesting now through October 2015 – June 2016

Toledo Cacao will match chocolate makers to small farms committed to quality pod selection, fermentation, drying and hand-sorting at origin. The farmers will carefully select and crack ripe pods on their own farms. Toledo Cacao then picks up the cacao in each village and delivers the fresh fruit to our jungle fermentary in the village of Eldridgeville. Chocolate makers are directly involved in the growing, harvesting and processing of the cacao.
